Final Thought:

The final thought on helping our kids would be a quote from the song, "Greatest Love of All".  The words quoted ring true.

“I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be

 Everybody's searching for a hero
People need someone to look up to I never found anyone who fulfilled my needs….”

Be that someone..... Be the HANDS AND FEET OF JESUS, that helps our kids.

Help Kids

Children are our future.  Do you believe that children are our future?  Do you believe in the millennial generation?

What will happen when the teenagers of today are leading the world of tomorrow?

Do you think to yourself, what happened to these kids today anyways?   Lots of things happened to them.  Our world is different not just our children.  Think about it.  How much time did your Mama spend on social media?

Do you wish you could help our kids?  Surely you do, helping them helps you.  They will be leading your world soon.

How can we help our children to be successful?  How can we help them to stay out of trouble?  How can we help them to recover after they get into trouble?  What do we do?

We recently spoke with Judge Irwin of  Knox County Juvenile Justice.

Here are a few things he suggested:

  • Volunteer for the foster care review board.

  • Provide stuffed animals for a stuffed animal drive Judge Irwin host annually.

(These animals go to children in the juvenile system)

Volunteer at reading programs

Places that have reading programs West Park Baptist, Northwest Elementary, Norwood Elementary
